I began at the intersection of engineering and healthcare. My first published research looked at improving mobile-based pulse oximeters using wavelet analysis — a small device problem that taught me a big lesson: technology only matters when someone's life or livelihood depends on it working.
At Maestros I led an arrhythmia detection programme that improved detection accuracy by 90% and cut response times from minutes to seconds. We built real-time ECG and vital-sign monitoring that worked from anywhere in the world with a maximum four-second delay — including a project with DRDO for the Navy.
From there I moved into startups, running technology for Saarthi and Tabcab, where in-cab tablet software ended fraudulent practices and saved ₹6 million a month. I consulted remotely for Healthwatch in Israel, then spent four years at Techizer leading mobile, front-end and UI/UX teams building products for pharma clients.
In 2021 I joined XS CAD — now Axium Global — to lead software development for architecture, engineering and construction. We halved project onboarding time with a flagship SaaS platform, halved delivery timelines with a hybrid Agile-Waterfall model, and implemented ISO 27001.
Today, as Head of Technology & Digital Innovation, I lead a technology organisation I grew from four people to around 25, with full P&L ownership and board-level reporting. The team built for internal tooling is now a client-facing software business serving enterprise clients in Australia and the USA — and six AI initiatives are moving from experiment to everyday work.
I speak Marathi, Sindhi, Hindi and English, and I'm based in Mumbai.
